🏌️ How the Scramble Works
Never played in a scramble before? No problem!
Everyone on your 3-person team hits a shot. Your team chooses the best shot, and everyone plays their next shot from that location. You continue this process until the ball is in the hole.
It's a fun format that allows golfers with different skill levels to play together.
You don't have to be the best golfer on the course. You just have to come ready to have some fun!
🏆 Tournament Challenges & Prizes
We're adding some extra fun to the round with challenges throughout the tournament.
-
Closest to the Pin
Show off your accuracy and see who can get closest to the pin!
-
Longest Drive
Time to let it rip! We'll see who can send it the farthest.
🥇 Tournament Prizes
At the end of the day, we'll recognize the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place teams.
Come ready to compete, but most importantly, come ready to have a good time and support Feeding Ferry County!

Where Your Support Goes
When you support Tee Up for a Cause, you're helping fund the programs Feeding Ferry County uses to get food, resources, and practical support directly into the hands of people in our community.
-
Meal Kit Gift Shops
Our Meal Kit Gift Shops provide free, shelf-stable meals at community locations in Ferry County. We stock complete meal kits that include the ingredients needed to prepare a meal along with a recipe and preparation instructions.
There is no registration, no paperwork, and no judgment. People can simply take what they need.
We currently stock our Meal Kit Gift Shops at Republic Public Library and Curlew Library, with regular deliveries and restocking to keep food available to the community.
-
Community Food Partnerships
We work with local organizations and community partners to make sure food reaches the people who can use it.
Through partnerships with organizations such as Communities in Schools of Northeast Washington, NCW Libraries, The People's Pantry, and Rural Resources, we help connect donated and purchased food with community members throughout Ferry County.
These partnerships allow us to stretch our resources and reach people in places where they already live, work, learn, and gather.
-
Summer Snack Shack
Our Summer Snack Shack provides food and snacks to children and families during the summer months when school meals aren't available.
We bring shelf-stable food, meal kits, snacks, fresh fruit, and water into the community through pop-up locations in Ferry County.
It's another way we can meet people where they are and provide food without requiring them to navigate a traditional food assistance program.
-
Food & Nutrition Education
We're also developing the education side of Feeding Ferry County. Providing food is one piece of food security, but we also want to give people practical tools they can use to make the most of the food available to them.
Our first workshop, Meal Planning Made Simple, is the beginning of this effort. These workshops are designed to provide practical, accessible information that people can use in their everyday lives—from planning meals and using what they already have to making food dollars stretch further.
As this part of our programming develops, we plan to offer more opportunities for our community to learn, share ideas, and build practical food skills.
-
Meal Kit Development
We're continually developing new meal options so our shelves offer variety, useful ingredients, and meals people will actually want to eat.
We create meal kits using a variety of protein sources, including beef, chicken, fish, and beans, and we're working to provide options that meet different dietary needs, including gluten-free, vegetarian, and lower-sodium choices.
-
Growing Food Access in Ferry County
Feeding Ferry County is a grassroots organization, and we're continuing to build programs based on what we hear from our community and what we see happening on the ground.
Funds raised through Tee Up for a Cause help us purchase food, create and distribute meal kits, maintain our community food programs, develop educational opportunities, and expand access to more people throughout Ferry County.
When you support this tournament, you're helping provide more than food. You're helping us build practical, community-based solutions to food insecurity right here in Ferry County.
A Community Event for a Community Cause
Feeding Ferry County is a grassroots organization built around a simple idea: our neighbors should be able to access food with dignity.
Tee Up for a Cause is one more way our community can come together, have some fun, and make a difference.
Whether you're golfing, sponsoring, volunteering, donating, or simply spreading the word—
you're helping us Tee Up for a Cause.
